  1. Panaskan salted butter dan tumis bawang putih hingga harum. masukkan tepung terigu. aduk hingga tepung berbutir. tuang susu secara bertahap sambil terus diaduk.
  2. Masukkan kornet, wortel, lada, dan garam. aduk adonan hingga menjadi kalis lalu tambahkan keju cheddar aduk hingga adonan tercampur rata. kemudian tuang adonan ke dalam wadah ratakan lalu tutup dengan plastik wrap dan simpan di kulkas kurleb 1 jam agar adonan mudah dibentuk.
  3. Setelah adonan dingin, ambil sedikit adonan menggunakan sendok atau langsung dengan tangan. pipihkan adonan lalu mozzarella (1-2 kotak) ditengahnya. bulatkan adonan kemudian sisihkan. ulangi langkah ini hingga semua adonan habis. berikan pelapis pertama adonan kering berupa tepung terigu. gulingkan hingga merata diseluruh bagian adonan. sisihkan simpan dikulkas selama 1 jam.
  4. Siapkan campuran adonan basah pelapis kedua dan ketiga. kemudian celupkan adonan kedalam pelapis kedua lalu ke pelapis ketiga (tepung panir/tepung roti). kemudian simpan dikulkas kurleb 30 menit-1 jam agar tepung roti/ tepung panir menempel sempurna dan tidak rontok pada saat digoreng.
  5. Panaskan minyak goreng adonan bitterballen sampai semua bagian adonan terendam sempurna angkat jika sudah berwarna kuning keemasan. letakkan pada piring saji. bitterballen dapat dinikmati dengan tambahan thousand island dan saus sambal.
