The ingredients needed to make Beef Bolognese:
  1. Take 1 tbsp olive oil
  2. Get 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  3. Get 2 carrots, trimmed and finely chopped
  4. Take 500 g beef mince

  6. Take 150 g Mixed Vegetables
  7. Take 400 g any tomato Bolognese sauce
Instructions to make Beef Bolognese:
  1. Put a large saucepan on a medium heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Reduce the heat and add the onion, carrot, then fry for 10 mins. Stir the veg often until it softens.
  3. Increase the heat to medium-high, add the mince and cook stirring for 3-4 mins until the meat is browned all over
  4. Add the tinned/bottled tomato bolognese sauce.
  5. Bring to the boil, reduce to a gentle simmer and cover with a lid. Cook for 15 mins stirring occasionally, until you have a rich, thick sauce.
  6. When the Bolognese is nearly finished, cook the spaghetti following pack instructions.
  7. Add mixed vegetables to boiling spaghetti, 4 minutes before draining.
  8. Drain the spaghetti and stir into the Bolognese sauce.
