- Prepare 1 kg beef mince meat
- Prepare 2 chopped onions
- Prepare 15 ml curry powder

- Prepare 125 ml almonds, quartered

- Soak bread in milk. Heat oil and fry the chopped onion
- When onions are soft add curry powder, salt, turmeric, chutney and lemon juice
- Drain and mash bread and reserve the milk
- Add bread, mince and raisins to the pan
- Cook low heat and when the mince loses it's pinkness remove from the stove. Add one beaten egg and mix well
- Put the mixture into a baking dish
- Beat remaining eggs with the reserved milk and add salt and turmeric
- Pour over meat mixture and put a few Bay leaves on top and bake uncovered at 180 degrees for about 45-60 minutes or until set. Serve with rice.
