Instructions to make Mince Macaroni Pasta:
- Heat oil in a large saucepan/pot on medium. Cook onion and green pepper for 5-8 minutes, until soft and brown. Add garlic. Cook for 1 minute, until fragrant
- Add mince to the pan and cook, breaking up lumps, for 8-10 minutes, until browned. Add tomato and tomato paste, black pepper and alil sugar (taste and add more or less to your liking) and simmer for 15 minutes, until thickened.
- Meanwhile, cook Macaroni in a large pot of salted boiling water according to packet directions. Drain and return to pan with mince. Stir in butter.
- To make white sauce, melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Add milk and keep stirring, for 2 minutes, until bubbling. Then add Mazena with alil water and stir, then add to milk and Simmer for 3-5minutes, until thickened. (but not too thick)
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a medium size oven dish.
- Place pasta and mince mixture in prepared dish. Cover with white sauce and top with the cheese and Sprinkle the Oreganum for garnish.
- Bake for 20-30minutes, until golden and cheese is melted.
