Steps to make Chicken curry with tandoor roti:
  1. Place the chicken in a bowl and add all spices (cinnamon, black peppercorn, cumin seeds, clove, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt). Add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, yoghurt, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli and mix it well. Now marinate chicken for 30 minutes.
  2. After 30 minutes. Take a pan and add marinated chicken and place in the pan, add a bit of water. Cook until done. After a few minutes check the chicken. If chicken is done then turn off the flames, sprinkle with chopped coriander.
  3. Tandoor roti or naan: - Make a soft dough with flour, sugar, ghee, egg, salt, yeast and warm milk, let it rise - Make 12 to 14 naan. Roll each dough piece into 15cm rounds - Brush with water on one side of roti. This helps roti sticks on tawa..use a cast iron tawa. Don't use nonstick tawa as the roti will fall off in next steps..the roti gets heated up..now carefully hold the tawa upside down on the flame. the flame has to be medium-low, otherwise the roti will burn. Rotate the tawa all sides.
  4. Now roti is done. Brush with melted butter or ghee. Sprinkle with chopped coriander..
