  1. Prepare 2 1/2 cups Masa/Tuwon shinkafa rice
  2. Prepare 1 tablespoon yeast

Instructions to make Masa/Rice Pancake:
  1. Wash and then soak the masa rice over night or few hours before blending/grinding, next morning wash again once or more.
  2. Then cooked 1/2 cup masa rice, then add the cooked rice to the soaked rice after draining the water then slice an average onion and blend/grind. The batter shouldn’t be too thin.
  3. After grinding, add 1tablespoon of yeast, 1 1/2 tablespoon of flour mix till well incorporated then cover the mixture and leave to sit at room temperature for atleast 3hours.
  4. Then add salt, sugar to taste and can as well add diced onions then fry in a Masa pan.
  5. Eat masa with vegetable soup, pepper soup or honey. Enjoy
