Steps to make Carrot Cake:
  1. Preheat the oven to 170 oC,Gas Mark 3. Did use a Tefal Food Processor to save time,did have the top bit that connects to the top - inside,so as too chop the carrots automatically into small slices and did use the sharp hook blade underneath too pulverise the peeled carrots.So first of all,did use my Electric mains Tefal too cream the butter and sugar together.
  2. Beat 8 hen eggs together in a large mixing bowl and gradually add the eggs from the top nozzle opening of the Tefal - continuously mixing automatically until it is done. Then place the top disc Tefal connection to the top - inside - and then turn the Tefal on - in order too put the washed peeled carrots through the nozzle at the top and push the Tefal stopper through.Butter,sugar,eggs and carrots are done and mixed.Add the Raisins.
  3. Convert the wet mix to a large mixing bowl and then use a flour sieve to apply the dry ingredients - 400g Self-raising Flour,4 teaspoons of Baking Powder,2 teaspoons of Bicarbonate of Soda and 1 heaped teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon.Mix lightly with a Wooden Spoon or use a fast blend with a Kenwood Food Mixer if you have one (Tefal was too small too mix all of the ingredients together).Once done allow to rest before using.
  4. Will need to grease either 9 inch Cake Tin's or could bake in a Loaf Baking Pan - add the raw cake dough or batter and according to the Internet bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or it may take 1 hour and 20 minutes - once done allow to cool on a wire Cake Rack.
  5. For the Cream Cheese Frosting use ones Kenwood Food Mixer too mix automatically the butter and Cream Cheese together and then add the Icing Sugar and mix. Done - decorate - enjoy.
